Mother's Day Treat

To the world you are a mother, but to our family you are the world. Mothers are daily miracle.

Mother’s Day is celebrated on the second Sunday of May every year. It is the day for the celebration of motherhood and honoring motherhood. It is the day to remember all her sacrifices for the sake of others and respect them.

This day is just a spontaneous outside celebration. Honestly, my family is used to stay at home whenever we celebrate birthdays and any other holidays, but I thought why not try to give her a blast outside.

We go to Circuit Makati  a mixed-use entertainment complex which would include an indoor theater, a shopping mall, hotels and residential and office skyscrapers. It would also contain a football turf, skate park and an outdoor entertainment area.

My friend introduced this restaurant to me sometime in 2011. We used to hangout at the branch at Ayala Triangle Gardens when she was still living and studying in Makati. At the moment, the restaurants at Ayala Triangle are closed for renovation, but I'm glad that they have branches at Circuit Makati and Ayala North Exchange now!

Before, my usual order is Lasagna roll-ups + a take-out mocha frappe in Starbacks. Lately though, I've been craving a lot for their carbonnarra!

You should also try their Banoffee pie! Though it's too sweet for me, I'm glad I tried something other than the cheesecakes last time I was there!

The staff is very accommodating which is something that is very important to me when I'm eating outside my dorm. This branch is not as spacious as the other branches, which is totally fine with me since I like eating by myself and I always avoid crowded places. If you're planning to go with a big group, you might want to consider going to the other branches.

After we took our dinner, we immediately roam around and saw this flower store who are actually closed. Outside is a a beautiful photo booth. Good thing, I have with me my Canon EOS 3000D.

Here are few of the highlights of our day with my mom:

When in Pangasinan

We've missed beaches for two years! That's indeed right since private pools were the only one accessible during the time of lockdown. For 2022, mostly of the beaches and resorts are back after a long break. Here are some to do list for all of your incoming trips.

We traveled from Manila to Lingayen in Pangasinan with a 5-hour straight ride from a bus we rented back and forth. Again, we already booked a place where we can stay which can be found in front of Lingayen Beach itself.

We booked a 2 days and 1 night stay with the resort which has 10 cottages which 5 with room in it for 600 Pesos for two days and the other regular 5 cottages are free to occupied.

Firstly, book your trip a month or weeks before . Secondly, prepare your luggage with must-haves before going on your beach trip, at least 5 different outfits for your OOTD updates, charge all of your gadgets and cameras: bring all the chargers and check for internal storage, and most importantly pack your favorite essentials: Alcohol, facemask, sunblock with SPF50, and vitamins. Ensure your immunity by taking vitamins and supplements regularly, days prior, and get vaccine and booster shots for a safer trip.

We reached Lingayen exactly 5 in the morning. We started doing some tiktok videos, and took some photos. The sunrise and sunset were beautiful on our first day.

On our second day, we started to swim though it was really hot. Remember, whether you’re indoors or outdoors, sunscreens are essential! Be prepared with an arsenal of sunscreen, so your skin stays protected.

We end the day with great smiles on our faces a moment to remember. Just a wonderful day with great company.
