To the world you are a mother, but to our family you are the world. Mothers are daily miracle.
Mother’s Day is celebrated on the second Sunday of May every year. It is the day for the celebration of motherhood and honoring motherhood. It is the day to remember all her sacrifices for the sake of others and respect them.
This day is just a spontaneous outside celebration. Honestly, my family is used to stay at home whenever we celebrate birthdays and any other holidays, but I thought why not try to give her a blast outside.
We go to Circuit Makati a mixed-use entertainment complex which would include an indoor theater, a shopping mall, hotels and residential and office skyscrapers. It would also contain a football turf, skate park and an outdoor entertainment area.
My friend introduced this restaurant to me sometime in 2011. We used to hangout at the branch at Ayala Triangle Gardens when she was still living and studying in Makati. At the moment, the restaurants at Ayala Triangle are closed for renovation, but I'm glad that they have branches at Circuit Makati and Ayala North Exchange now!
Before, my usual order is Lasagna roll-ups + a take-out mocha frappe in Starbacks. Lately though, I've been craving a lot for their carbonnarra!
You should also try their Banoffee pie! Though it's too sweet for me, I'm glad I tried something other than the cheesecakes last time I was there!
The staff is very accommodating which is something that is very important to me when I'm eating outside my dorm. This branch is not as spacious as the other branches, which is totally fine with me since I like eating by myself and I always avoid crowded places. If you're planning to go with a big group, you might want to consider going to the other branches.
After we took our dinner, we immediately roam around and saw this flower store who are actually closed. Outside is a a beautiful photo booth. Good thing, I have with me my Canon EOS 3000D.
Here are few of the highlights of our day with my mom:
